This March, the Bridgend Dementia Hub, supported by Mental Health Matters Wales, invites you to join a series of enriching activities tailored to those navigating life with dementia and their supportive loved ones. Our program is designed not just as events but as opportunities to enhance connection, understanding, and wellness in a nurturing environment.
Monthly Gatherings for Growth and Connection:

Mondays are for Meeting:
Coffee Morning ☕ (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at 63 Nolton Street): A gentle start to your week with coffee and companionship.
Morning Tea Party 🫖 (March 3rd, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at 63 Nolton Street): A special gathering with tea and shared stories to warm your heart.
Tuesdays for Creativity and Care:
Maesteg Hub 📅 (10:30 AM - 12:00 PM at Ty Llywynderw, Maesteg, 4th & 18th March): A supportive space to explore your needs and find collective solutions.
Art Session 🎨 (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at 63 Nolton Street): Dive into the world of colors and textures, expressing yourself through art.
Wellness Wednesdays:
Caring Community Café ☕👥 (10:30 AM - 12:00 PM at MHMW, Union Offices): Share your journey and gather insights in a peer-supported setting.
Ty Ynysawdre Hub 🌟 (2:00 PM - 3:30 PM at Ty Ynysawdre, Heol Y Ysgol, Tondu, 5th & 19th March): Engage in purposeful activities designed to enrich your day-to-day experiences.
Thoughtful Thursdays:
Porthcawl Hub 🏖️ (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at YMCA, 25 John Street, Porthcawl): Find solace and support in a group setting that understands.
Sarn Hub 🌈 (2:00 PM - 3:30 PM at Sarn Life Long Centre, Merfield Close): Experience targeted support and engaging activities prepared with you in mind.
Fitness Fridays:
Wellbeing Walks 🚶♂️🌳 (11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Newbridge Fields, meeting outside HALO, 7th, 14th, & 21st March): Walk your way to wellness with our gentle group strolls.
Porthcawl Wellbeing Walk 🌊 (March 28th, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Porthcawl, meeting opposite the pavilion): Embrace the beauty of Porthcawl while nurturing your physical and mental well-being.
Music for the Mind 🎶 (2:00 PM - 3:30 PM at 63 Nolton Street): Let music touch your soul and lift your spirits.
