A Creative Easter Afternoon at Our Nolton Street Art Group

mhmadmin

Yesterday at MHM Wales, our Nolton Street Art Group enjoyed a wonderful few hours of Easter-themed creativity, making beautiful decorations to celebrate the season. The room was filled with laughter, colour, and a real sense of connection as participants immersed themselves in arts and crafts.

Engaging in creative activities like this is more than just fun—it has proven mental health benefits. Art can be a powerful tool for reducing stress, improving focus, and enhancing mood. Crafting in a group setting also provides a sense of belonging and social connection, which is vital for overall well-being. Whether it’s painting eggs, creating Easter wreaths, or simply enjoying the process of making something by hand, these moments allow people to express themselves, build confidence, and find joy in the present.

Sessions like these remind us how important creative outlets and community spaces are for mental well-being. A big thank you to everyone who joined in today—your creations were egg-stra special!
