The Dementia Wellbeing & Community Hub, developed by Mental Health Matters Wales (MHM Wales), is delivering on its mission: to provide a warm, inclusive space where people living with dementia, their families, and the wider community can feel supported, connected, and heard.

Why the Hub Matters
For many people living with dementia, everyday life can become confusing, isolating, and difficult to navigate. Families and carers often carry the emotional load with limited support.
The Bridgend Dementia Hub changes that.
Here, people are met with kindness, not judgment. With connection, not isolation. With activities that support the whole person – not just their diagnosis.
What’s On This April: A Month of Support, Creativity, and Connection
As the days grow longer and the signs of spring are all around us, we’re delighted to share our April 2025 schedule of Dementia Hub & Wellbeing activities. These sessions are designed to bring connection, creativity, and community to individuals living with dementia and their carers across Bridgend County.

Built on Experience, Led by Community
What makes this Hub truly special is the way it has been shaped – not top-down, but from the ground up.
We’ve worked hand-in-hand with people living with dementia, their families, carers, and local professionals to create a space that reflects real needs and real lives.
And this is just the beginning.
Every conversation, every suggestion, and every story shared helps shape the future of the Hub. It’s a living, breathing part of Bridgend – and it belongs to everyone.
