Bringing Community, Connection, and Care to Bridgend

At Mental Health Matters Wales, we understand the importance of connection and community – especially for individuals living with dementia and their carers. That’s why our Dementia Hub & Wellbeing Activities continue throughout May 2025, offering a welcoming and inclusive space for support, creativity, and shared moments.
This month's calendar is filled with weekly group activities, creative sessions, hubs across Bridgend County, and special events during Dementia Action Week. Whether you're seeking companionship, creative outlets, or local support, there's something here for everyone.
🗓️ Highlights for May 2025:
☕ Weekly Activities:
Coffee Mornings every Monday (10.00–12.00) at 63 Nolton Street, Bridgend
Caring Community Café on Wednesdays (10.30–12.00) at MHM Wales, Quarella Road
Wellbeing Walks every Friday (11.00–1.00), meeting outside HALO in Newbridge Fields
Art Sessions on Tuesdays (2.00–4.00) at 63 Nolton Street, Bridgend
🌼 Special Events:
Dementia Action Week Tea Party – Join us on Monday 19th May, 10.00–12.00at 63 Nolton Street, Bridgend, for a joyful morning with TuVida and the Alzheimer’s Society.
Information Stand at Princess of Wales Hospital – Wednesday 21st May, 1.00–4.00Come meet us to learn more about support services available.

Maesteg Hub – 13th & 27th May
Blaengarw Hub – 6th & 20th May
Pencoed Dementia Hub – 12th May
Porthcawl Hub – Thursdays, 10.00–12.00
Sarn Hub – Thursdays, 2.00–3.30
