Introduction
Mental Health Awareness Week (12th – 18th May 2025) is an opportunity to come together, reflect, and strengthen the bonds that make our communities thrive. This year's theme is “Community,” highlighting the vital role of support networks in promoting mental wellbeing.
At MHM Wales, our Wellbeing Hubs are at the heart of this theme, providing safe spaces where individuals can connect, access support, and engage in meaningful activities. Our hubs are more than just places – they are communities of care, compassion, and connection.
What Are Wellbeing Hubs?
Wellbeing hubs are dedicated community spaces offering a wide range of support services, designed to promote mental and emotional wellbeing. At MHM Wales, our hubs provide a welcoming environment where individuals can access guidance, build connections, and participate in activities that enhance their mental health.
Why Community Matters for Mental Health
A strong sense of community reduces isolation and loneliness.
Support networks help individuals build resilience and confidence.
Shared experiences create understanding and compassion.
This Mental Health Awareness Week, we celebrate our wellbeing hubs as thriving communities that support mental health for all.
